firmoo glasses review

hi guys! first off, let me apologize for my lack of posts recently. i've been having

1) work issues - which is so crazy at the moment. I can barely make time for myself 2) camera issues - lens problems, the most daunting thing that can happen to a blogger 3) life issues - i've got some major life events coming up in the next couple months (which i will happily share when the time comes)

in any case, i promise to step my game back up SOON! for now, here is a review for a pair of glasses i received a little while ago. let me start by saying i have TERRIBLE vision. and aside from the obvious need to look as hipster as possible, when it comes to glasses, the BIGGER, more coke-bottlely the better!! i've been partial to warby parker in the past, but I was curious when firmoo offered to send me a pair to try out on my own.

the ordering process is simple, choose a frame, send in a recent prescription and pick any upgrades you may want (i.e. UV light protection, scratch-resistant, etc.) they're made of plastic, incredibly light and SO cheap (my frames added up to ~$40 shipped). to be honest, my initial thoughts were these FEEL cheap, but you get what you pay for. however, after wearing them for a whole day, i realized I LOVED how light they felt. when your vision is poor, the wider your field of vision is, the less stress there will be on your eyes. normally with my other pairs, by the end of the day they feel incredibly heavy. my eyes feels strained and my ears hurt a bit from the weight of the frames on my face. however, even though these are the largest lenses i own, i could wear them for several days straight with no problems.

all in all, i love the shape, the look and the price. these surprisingly have become my go-to and i've been telling my friends and family left and right to order from here. i definitely plan to get more soon myself!
