ride round and get it
fall is officially here and the weather has been amazing. i do my best to try and keep a moderately active lifestyle. i wouldn't say i'm the most fit person in the world, not even close, but when i can, i think it's important to exercise. i really love cycling, and with the weather being so wonderful, it was a great opportunity to explore parts of houston that are best reached on foot.
for any of you that are considering taking up cycling, here a few tips to keep in mind when starting out: - fit is everything! everyone's body type is different, some of us have longer legs, shorter arms, etc. it's important to make sure you try out several bikes and find one that fits you correctly. that little bit of discomfort at the beginning will feel like a ton of bricks by the end of a long ride. - remember to stay hydrated! your muscles will thank you for this - always do your ABC Quick Check before each ride: A is for Air B is for Brakes C is for cranks and chains Quick is for your quick releases Check is to make sure you've checked it all over!
How do you guys like to stay in shape?
